Snake Killers

Mal Sawm Tlaunga from New Heritage Orphanage holding the dead snake.

If you are an animal activist this blog post isn’t for you. While I’m no advocate of animal cruelty, if I found a snake in my house or around children, I certainly would ask a manly man to put an end to its life.

Although there are many kinds of poisonous snakes in Myanmar, I’m not sure if the one in the picture above was poisonous…but I wouldn’t be taking any chances around my children! A few of the brave boys at New Heritage Orphanage in Yangon, Myanmar, saw the snake and quickly killed it.

I have no pity for snakes…after all, Genesis 3:14a says, “So the LORD God said to the serpent, ‘Because you have done this, cursed are you above all livestock and all wild animals’”!

Thank you so much!
